Starting with GMAC mortgage as an underwriter doing government lending, later moving into private money at Bonded Home loans and a few years later moving to one of the lenders in the consumer private money market, Budget Finance Company. Torri later became the Senior Underwriter at Budget Mortgage Corp, focusing on developers in the 1–10-unit market. In 2022 Torri joined Insignia Capital Corp., as Senior Underwriter for the company.
